The album was recorded and mixed in London from winter 1993 to 1994. and on 19 July 1994 by Atlantic Records in the United States and Canada. It was released on 13 June 1994 by Blanco y Negro Records in the U.K. The solution was to source the image from the original photographer – not the exact frame, but a ‘near-identical’ one taken a fraction of a second later!
